Real-time Data Access with Apache Ignite SQL
Apache Ignite is a key component of Bloomberg's portfolio management system. In this talk, I will explain how the finance industry’s ever-increasing need to process large datasets in real-time led Bloomberg's engineers to select Ignite to deliver persistence, caching, and integrated compute. I also will identify some challenges and solutions that will enable us to retrieve near-real-time data from the SQL cache with a minimal memory footprint.
