Pitfalls in horizontally scaling a legacy HL Application with a help of Apache Ignite
Over the past few years, I have been lucky enough to undertake a journey of converting a legacy, high load, mostly vertically scalable application that performs tens of millions of calculations per minute into a dynamically and horizontally scalable cluster with a help of Apache Ignite IMDG. I would like to share the pitfalls that we have faced along with the implemented solutions.
