Deep dive into Apache Ignite testing

<  Return to Schedule

How do you check the changes that you make when you’re developing distributed storage? For Apache Ignite, the commonly used testing tools are the JUnit, Compatibility, and Yardstick frameworks. During the session, we discuss the pros and cons of each tool and review some usage examples. Some of the cons that are inherent to the toolset encouraged our team to create a tool, the Ducktests. This tool helped us to identify critical bugs that we were previously unable to locate or reproduce. The session also includes a Ducktests presentation, an achievements list, and examples.
