Boosting Real-time E-commerce Analytics with Apache Ignite on AWS
An e-commerce company had to process vast amounts of data generated by user interactions, transaction logs, and inventory updates. They needed to monitor KPIs such as conversion rates, inventory levels, and customer behavior. Having implemented many similar systems, I knew that Apache Ignite could be a strong heart to a high-performance real-time analytics platform on AWS. In this talk, I’ll explore the detailed case study of an e-commerce company that transformed its data processing capabilities using Apache Ignite and AWS services. You’ll get insight into every part of the project, from requirements and objectives to drive sales and enhance customer experience, through the AWS architecture and technology selection, testing scale up and scale down to handle peak workloads such as Black Friday, performance optimization, and system health monitoring. The session will conclude with a live demonstration of the implemented system. You’ll take away practical knowledge of how to build similar solutions using Apache Ignite on AWS.
Renaldi Gondosubroto
Renaldi Gondosubroto is the Director of Cloudetica Solutions, where he leads the building of both proprietary and open-source solutions on cloud platforms. He brings over a decade of software development experience and has been active within the research community; putting a lot of his research focus within IoT and virtual reality. Having spoken over 50 events and conferences, he has been an international speaker for the past six years, sharing his experiences and projects. He also currently is an AWS Subject Matter Expert (SME) for its Professional, Associate and Specialty Certifications and holds all 14 AWS certifications. He aims to build open-source solutions which can both help people achieve more value in what they do and promote best practices for fellow developers.
